The award consists of 5 lessons which cover food safety and HACCP as it affects food preparation.

The user is free to visit the 5 lessons of learning as many times as they require until they are ready to take the 30 multi-choice question test.

To take the test the candidate transfers electronically to the awarding body site (EDI) where the test is registered and is therefore fully auditable.

The test is electronically marked and candidates who achieve 20 correct questions will print off their EDI certificate instantly.

Course duration is approximately 2 ½ hours – but is essentially at the speed of the user.
